Looks good! I daresay it beat what I grew up with as a kid... we had a slide that was missing important pieces, and when one tried to go down it it would slide off the bolting and send you plummeting backwards, (though I must say it provided for more than it's share of pranks over the years).
We had a complete swingset, and a decent jungle gym... that is, till the neighbors tree killed both in one storm.
Fort wise, we had a particle board box that lasted for almost a complete summer. I forget what the box/crate was for, but I remember the spray paint fumes, lol... I'm working on a slide... and maybe a swing, but likely not till I earn some more cash.
I know you and the grandkids are going to have a BLAST with the fort this summer! Perrin already LOVES it and as usual, has no fear. It will be fun for you and Lakota to camp out in there as well.
You did a great job and those 3 kids are so lucky to have a Papaw like you!
I look forward to today as it'll be nice. I think I'll sit on the upper level and watch Perrin play.
Lakota will be ungrounded soon, so YAY for that, though, heh, too bad she broke her arm helping me build it ;) :P I think I'll request Devin for a few hours one weekend... I also look forward to the next family gathering where I can play with all three kids on it at once! Though, it still needs a little work, but that'll get done, and likely soon! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
